Romantic Beach Inspired Lighting
Whether entertaining many, or that special someone, we think these seashell candles are dreamy and romantic.
Lovely on their own or as a companion to sand candles, these small lights celebrate the beach and the summer. Collect only good-sized empty shells, or save the shells from your next clambake or oyster fest.
MAKES SIX CANDLES
Supplies:
1.5 x 6.5-inch seashells
Six 2-inch lengths thin wire wick, primed
6 wick holders
0.8 ounces stearin
1 disk wax dye, if desired
8 ounces paraffin wax
Directions:
1. Clean the seashells thoroughly. Then, to be sure they are really clean, put them in boiling water for a few minutes.
2. Insert the wicks into the wick holders and place one in the middle of each seashell.
3. In the top of a double boiler over medium heat, melt the stearin and wax dye, if using. Add the wax. Melt and mix thoroughly. Heat to 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
4. Fill each seashell nearly to the top and allow to cool completely, or overnight.
5. Trim the wicks to 1/4 inch and arrange the candles on a dish or in a bowl of sand. Light and enjoy!

Outdoor pleasures with your child
Summertime means outdoor fun and hours spent enjoying nature, for many parent's outdoor play is a answer to prayers because it gives parents "a moment" to just sit. Playing in the backyard in sandboxes, riding bikes and playing on your swing set or playhouse are memories of every child.
I never had a fancy sand box like the KidKraft 4x4 Sandbox but this particular sand box is amazing. It is covered to protect from the sun and the elements of the weather and has wooden panels to prevent warping and weathering. More than one child can play in this great sandbox as well as our other great kid's sandbox's.
For the more ac
tive kiddo, the ones that like to roam~ the Pink Princess Pedal Car or Fire Engine Pedal Car. You can have indoors or outdoors, special fun on those rainy days of summer. For the throwback tricycle, we have a unbelievable 1936 replica - the Blue Sky King Tricycle - available in pink, red or baby blue. Tiny Dimples also carries a Jr. version of the Tricycle, the Red Sky King Junior Tricycle - all lead-free.
For lemonade time and snack time our great kid's picnic tables are the way to go. Enjoy some quiet time with your child by sitting at these precious kid's tables made especially for kid's and read a book or color in a coloring book.
Whatever your pleasure with your child is-indoor or out, we have some great options from kid's sandboxs to picnic tables to tricycles. We know there will never be a dull moment when spending time with your child this summer.
Enjoy your time together because before you know it, you will be buying them a real car to ride in.
